BREAKING NEWS

For everyone that has visited us in the close season you will already know this, but, we have some breaking news. As from March the 1st 2008 there will be a Balmoral Bar Part 2, consisting of a much larger terrace, and a games room full of fun for children and adults alike. Although the bar will be expanding nothing will change at all, we will still be open from 8 oclock in the morning serving breakfast main meals and snacks until we close. For those of you who come on holiday and cant bare to miss your teams match we have good news for you. Next year we will have at least four plasmas outside with the possibility of a large screen in the new games room. At the minute we are screening 10 out of 10 Premiership matches over a weekend with a few SPL matches thrown in, we also show the Rugby, F1, and all othe major sports events. After all the football has finished its straight on to Karaoke where you can choose from over 40,000 songs from the past and present, with loads of great offers all night, the bar really gets going around at 10 oclock lasting right through til the last person leaves. So if youre in the area while on your holiday pop in and join in the fun, then you’ll not have any regrets that you’ve left it until youre last day to find us.

As the season draws to an end myself, Paco and Charmaine are wondering what we are gonna be eating on the 1st of november, hopefully it will be Charmaines paella but we’ll wait and see……
From the 1st of March until today we have had a barrel of laughs with everyone who has stepped foot into the bar and long may this continue for years to come. Everyone at the bar just wants to say a great big thayou to everyone who has came back from previous years and new customers who have made our jobs so much easierwe all hope you had a wonderfull holiday and look forward to hearing from in the near future…… On our return to England in the winter we plan on holding two Balmoral Bar reunions, one in Shearers Bar in Newcastle and one somewhere in Birmingham , so the modgers can take us out for a drink…….everyone is welcome, keep checking for dates as they are tbc.
